Oasis Crescent Fund Trust Handover

On Friday, 25 August, Oasis handed over a much needed and fully equipped ambulance to the Saaberi Chishty Organisation. Saaberi Chishty is an invaluable non-profit  organisation based in the Gauteng region, servicing the areas of Lenasia and its surrounds. It is made up of skilled people from within the community who are driven to improve the living conditions of those around them. These are men and women who give selflessly of their time to
assist and help others and do so without expectation.

The amount of goodwill that is generated can never be quantified, especially in times of need, and it is therefore an honour for the Oasis Crescent Fund Trust to be able to assist Saaberi Chishty with their request to purchase a new Ambulance so that they can continue their work.

With the significant challenges and stresses we face in our country today, it is paramount that we work together to improve the quality of services that reaches our people. We all have a role to play to improve the health and well-being of our society but this organisation really goes above and beyond when it comes to community development, improvement and upliftment.

In pursuit of serving the less fortunate, the perseverance and determination of members of Saaberie Chishty Society has paid off after a commitment made over 25 years ago. What started out as a small community ambulance is now a fully equipped; 24 hour operational emergency medical service manned by qualified staff and paramedics.

Just over 5 years ago the Trustees of the Oasis Crescent Fund Trust learned of the excellent work that Saaberie Chishty was involved with and provided them with a hearse facility that is still in operation today.

Their commitment to the people of Lenasia has been unwavering and it is therefore a privilege to now be part of their focus within the community healthcare sector to ensure that their noble work is enhanced and ongoing.

Spokesperson for the Saaberi Chishty Organisation, Aboobaker Sayed, said that his management would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the Oasis Group for their generous sponsorship of a brand new fully equipped ambulance. “This ambulance will replace one of our aged vehicles and will be an invaluable service to the community of Lenasia and surrounding areas. We place on record our sincere appreciation to the Oasis Group for rallying around a great humanitarian cause, in helping us make a significant difference to the health and well-being of others”.
